This is a catalogue of an exhibition based on an idea by Paulina and curated by Irene Calderoni at Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Torino, which set her own work in dialogue with pieces from the Fondazione’s collection. The show’s title derives from a 1961 book of the same name by Mad Men-era art director Steven Baker, a 1:1 scale piece of which is collaged on the cover on top of one of Paulina’s Spell Shells.
