2017–

This series of small-format books makes use of Dexter Sinister’s polymorphous Meta-The-Difference-Between-The-Two-Font, an update of computer scientist Donald Knuth’s MetaFont (see A Note on the Type). Each new edition is set in a different version of the typeface, as described in a postface note at the back of each book (one of which is shown here). Each book is also printed on a different shade of grey paper—a nod to the use of the greyscale “spinning pinwheel” icon adopted as the series’ symbol.
